If you’ve been thinking about getting into video or audio editing, I would recommend the Sony product options. I use Vegas for my video editing after starting with their Home Movie Studio version. The learning curve was small, and they have great support forums.
If you’re interested, the Sony Media Software website is currently offering a 35% discount on anything in their on-line store until March 20, 2009. You can either have it shipped or download some stuff.
