[Weekend Fun] Address is Approximate

I enjoy sharing cool and creative videos that I run across in my journeys through the interwebs. And I like to do it on the weekend when you’re either unwinding from a busy week or need a moment of pause as you finalize for your weekend ministries.

Maybe I’m the only one, but I think it’s great to see what people are doing creatively with tools that most of use have ready access to.

Today’s video features some stop motion, Google Maps Street View, and a great story.

Enjoy!

What are you watching that you just have to share?

iPads, iPhones, & Christmas Music, Oh My!

What could be more fun than combining iDevices and Christmas tunes?

That’s what Northpoint Community Church in Georgia did last year as a service opener.

Maybe you saw this as it went viral last year.

But, you didn’t.

Either way, it’s worth watching again this weekend.

Enjoy!

Hope you are having a wonderful and joyous music filled holiday season.

Feliz Navidad!

What are you watching/listening to that you could share with someone else?

If you’re not smiling by the end of this…

If you’re not smiling by the end of this video, then…

you might need to take a step back from life, eat some chocolate, spend some time praying, or check your pulse.

That was simply amazing.

Stop Motion Videos Can Be HUGE

Remember making flip books when you were in school?

When you got bored, you would draw little pictures on the edges of the paper in notebooks or handouts, each one changing slightly, and then flip the pages showing the action of the character.

It was pretty cool.

Now people are making stop motion stories with all kinds of media. Continue Reading…

Impressionist Jim Meskimen Does Shakespeare as…

Who doesn’t love impressions?

Jim Meskimen is an expert impersonator of voices. In the video clip below, he performs Clarence’s speech from William Shakespeare’s Richard III with a variety of well-known voices.

This Saturday, enjoy a bit of culture slathered with a layer of celebrity impersonation.

Have a great weekend!

[Video] I’ve never seen juggling like this

Ran across this video online this week. I’ve never seen juggling that looks like this.

Insane.

And creative.

Have you ever seen something like this before?

[Weekend Fun] What to do with leftover fireworks…

Got some fireworks left over from the 4th of July festivities? Wondering what to do with them? Don’t want them to go to waste, but worried about annoying your neighbors? Or the law-enforcement officials of your community?

Well, as a public service, I would like to pass along this informative video from Tripp & Tyler of Buckhead church in Atlanta, GA.

See? Fireworks aren’t just for the 4th of July. Many things can be done with them.

What’s the most “creative” thing you’ve ever done with fireworks?

(Thanks, Tony)
