The Next Superhero was a series of six short videos created in connection with a series called Superheroes of the Bible. The basis of the series was to take a look at some of the characters in the Bible that God used to do some amazing things. The purpose was two-fold. One was to expose people to Bible stories that they may not be aware of. The second was to draw the church’s attention to the vital role of faith in each of these people’s lives, and in ours. After all, faith was their secret weapon.
The Next Superhero was created as a cohesive thread, unifying factor, and weekly humorous introduction piece. Each week, we had Joe learning about being a hero by using an iconic characteristic of the Bible character of the week.
They were a lot of work, but a lot of fun to make. Enjoy!
